The Prime Minister and Leader of the Progressive Liberal Party expressed optimism in his party’s chances in the upcoming by-election in West Grand Bahama and Bimini.

The Hon. Philip Davis spoke while attending a kite flying festival over the weekend on the grounds of Aquinas College.  He said, “there’s no reason for the people of West End and Grand Bahama to vote for a voice in opposition.  What would that do for them?  There’s three more years left in this term let’s continue the work that we started.  Let us see what else can happen in the next three years.  Have someone around the table with us who can ensure that their cries are heard, their aspirations could be met.  And they only can be met with assurance that there is someone who will be speaking at all times for them.  You don’t need a voice in opposition.”

The West Grand Bahama and Bimini by-election will be held on November 22nd.
