Police are investigating the discovery of a child found unresponsive in the area of Brice Lane, Fox Hill on Tuesday evening.

Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings was on the scene and briefed members of the media.  “Sometime around 5:30 this evening concerned residents from the area contacted police and indicated that they discovered a toddler unresponsive in bushes nearby their home.  Our officers responded and on arrival discovered a male child about 2 years of age with apparent injuries to the neck and the head.  At present we’re unable to say that cause of the injuries.  However,  His Majesty’s Coroner was on the scene along with the pathologist, Mr. Sands and we will await the results of an autopsy report into this latest incident.”

The Chief Superintendent also confirmed that another incident involving three persons being shot in the area of Nassau Street occurred while police were on the scene in Fox Hill.
