Both Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis and Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Michael Pintard have issued press statements on the occasion of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Prime Minister Davis expressed deep regret and sadness having learned of The Queen’s passing. He extended condolences to the Royal Family and ordered that flags be flown at half mast until sunset on September 9th.

The Leader of the Opposition in his statement said that his party’s thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family, the people of Britain and the Commonwealth of Nations. He also said that Queen Elizabeth II reigned with grace and dignity and that she will be sorely missed.
