Police are continuing investigations into a homicide that took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers received information about a shooting incident on Milton Street and on arrival discovered the body of a man slumped over with apparent gunshot wounds in a black Nissan March. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and pronounced the victim lifeless.

In a separate incident, two male suspects were arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm. Officers from the Operations Unit noticed two male occupants of a motorcycle on Yamacraw Hill Road. After a chase, police captured the suspects in Elizabeth Estates and after conducting a search discovered the unlicensed firearm and ammunition. See details in the official RBPF Crime Report:
