RF Bank & Trust is continuing its support of The Bahamas Sickle Cell Association for the second consecutive year, contributing to the organization’s Sickle Cell Awareness Month initiatives and its efforts to establish a new Holistic Sickle Cell Centre in The Bahamas.
Through the partnership, RF Bank & Trust is supporting the Association’s ongoing efforts to increase awareness of sickle cell disease, educate the public and strengthen resources available to individuals and families affected by the illness. The support also comes as the Association moves forward with plans for its future Holistic Sickle Cell Centre.
The Association recently unveiled the site for the proposed facility, marking a significant step in its long-term vision to provide more comprehensive care, education and resources for those living with sickle cell disease and their families in The Bahamas.

September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and it provides an opportunity to increase public understanding of the disease while highlighting the experiences and needs of those living with it. For the Association, corporate and community partnerships play an important role in sustaining that work and advancing its long-term goals.
