A woman was shot and killed on South Street and Hospital Lane in the Bain Town community on Sunday evening.
According to Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings, “a female was shot multiple times while at the intersection. Quick response by officers in the area, they observed a small blue vehicle fleeing from the area at a high rate of speed.”
The driver of the vehicle is still at large.
The Chief Superintendent appealed to members of the community where the incident occurred for information. She also assured that the country is still safe. “These incidents are isolated incidents. These are incidents involved in direct conflicts with individuals,” Skippings said.
