P.M Minnis accepts donation of locally produced face shields

Bahamas Moves Into Phase 3 Of Reopening Restrictions Relaxed

The Bahamas has shifted into Phase 3 of its reopening, in the process further relaxing restrictions. Come June 2nd, the Monday to Friday 24-hour curfew will be lifted and a new and reduced curfew from 9:00pm to 5:00am will take effect countrywide.

China makes a donation in the fight against COVID-19

The People’s Republic of China has made a significant donation of medical supplies to aid in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in The Bahamas. On Tuesday April 28th, 2020 Chinese Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Huang Qinguo, signed the handover certificate on the China Aid Pandemic Prevention Goods with Public Hospitals Authority Deputy Director of the Supplies Management Agency (SMA) Mr. Audley G. Bain.
