The Salvation Army in The Bahamas finds itself with a budget challenge. The organization has spent 80% of funds collected meeting the needs of those they serve in the community.

Divisional Commander, Rudolph Meo spoke to ZNS News about the organization’s budget woes. “Its a bit scary when you have already spending 80% of what you receive and because they demand was so great and we will not be just to keep money inside just where there is a need, there is the Salvation Army.”

Meo appealed to potential donors saying, “if you have the envelope for the mail appeal…please send back the envelope with a little extra, that will help us very much.”
