Officials of the United States (US) Embassy recently paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Interim President of the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI), Dr. Linda Davis to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding between EducationUSA (EDUSA) and BTVI. In 2019, BTVI became host of the new EducationUSA Advising Center in The Bahamas.

The center is the official source of information and guidance for anyone in The Bahamas interested in studying at a college or university in the United States. This also includes parents researching options for their children. The center is scheduled to officially launch mid-summer.

Additionally, officials discussed identifying synergies that could advance the partnership between the two organizations.
