As of January 1st, 2024, Sherrexia ‘Rexy’ Rolle is the new President, Chief Executive Officer and Accountable Manager of Western Air.
In an interview about her new position Rolle said, “at Western Air we really are committed to the service that we provide to our passengers. And so for me this is going to be just about focusing and fine tuning the services that we provide and really pushing to enhance the Western Air experience.”
The airline president spoke further about some of her plans for the company. ”For most people life can be very unpredictable and so that’s why we have the most flexible ticket policies in the region. On Western Air there’s never any cancelation fees or change fees because we want passengers to have the flexibility and the frequency to travel, so were gonna build on that by creating even more flexible options down the road.”
Rolle says she intends to remain herself as she takes on the new professional role. “I think it’s just a testament of the times and the fact that you can be multiple things. And so for me music and dance and fashion is a part of my personality and I don’t expect that to change. I don’t like the stuffy or the bougie. You could still come up to me and talk and we’ll talk for a long time and that’s how I intend to stay and I don’t expect anything to change personality wise.
Western Air is a family business established by Rolle’s parents in the year 2000. It is the largest privately owned airline in the country. Rolle previously served as the Vice President of Operations and General Council for the airline.
