Five of seven people appeared in the Magistrate’s Court before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on Wednesday faced with charges related to fraud, money laundering and stealing at the Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC). Most of the seventy charges read were against Trevor Roberts, former WSC Senior Superintendent.
Roberts is accused of stealing more than $87,000 from WSC by reason of employment. The other defendants include Romel and Vanessa Rolle charges with conspiracy to commit fraud and stealing. Witchell Wilson and Adasha Pickering face similar charges.
The accused were all granted bail and are expected back in court on July 25th.
