Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Services, the Hon. Bacchus Rolle delivered his contribution to the 2026/2027 budget debate in the House Of Assembly last week.
During his presentation the minister announced $750,000 in support for autism related services. He said, “many parents battle with providing care for those children who suffer from autism and also those who are now adults. The concern includes that cost of assessment and diagnosis and various forms of therapy. It remains a growing concern in our community and will be given the attention it deserves. “
