The summer travel season is approaching and Bahamasair is preparing to expand its flight schedule to include Freeport to Orlando starting Monday, June 23, 2025. The highly anticipated route will operate twice weekly, every Monday and Thursday.
This new route is expected to boost the tourism industry by offering more convenient travel options for both residents and visitors. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper noted that Grand Bahama remains the fastest growing island, with air arrivals up 14.5 percent.
Travelers can book flights by visiting any Bahamasair city ticket office in New Providence or Grand Bahama, contacting a local travel agency.
