A boat accident occurred over the weekend on the island of Grand Bahama that has left 16 people injured. The vessel was on its way to Grand Cay when it turned to avoid a diver and cooler in the water.
Mathiene McIntosh, a passenger on the vessel, recounted the incident to ZNS News. According the McIntosh, it was he who first alerted the boat’s captain to the cooler in the water.
