Miss Bahamas Universe, Angel Cartwright has left the country for New Orleans where she will compete in the Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Cartwright spoke to reporters before her departure from the Lynden Pindling International Airport. She said, “for me the stakes are so high. To have always wanted to compete at Miss Universe and with the phenomenal performance of last year I can only dream of a higher placement. This is such as dream come true. As a little girl – so many women compete for this honour and its a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’ve done everything that I possibly can to do my best to represent my country and I only ask for love, support and kindness going forward.”
The Miss Universe hopeful will participate in two weeks of preliminary events and competitions before the pageant which will be held on January 14th, 2023.
