BTC has brought the latest in smartphone innovation to customers across The Bahamas with the launch of HONOR’s newest devices, combining advanced technology, artificial intelligence, performance and durability in a portfolio designed to meet the demands of today’s connected consumer.
The official launch took place on September 17th at BTC’s Mall at Marathon Retail Store, where customers were given an opportunity to move beyond simply viewing the devices and experienced their capabilities firsthand. The interactive launch was designed to demonstrate how HONOR’s technology can enhance everyday productivity, communication, entertainment and digital experiences.
The experience featured live demonstrations, hands-on challenges and interactive technology zones, allowing customers to explore the devices in real-world scenarios. Demonstrations included multitasking challenges and durability tests, showcasing the performance and resilience built into the HONOR portfolio.
Customers were also introduced to a range of intelligent and productivity-focused features, including face-to-face translation, Circle to Search, voice-to-text functionality, Google Gemini AI capabilities, as well as advanced camera and editing tools.
“The best way to understand what technology can do is to experience it firsthand,” said Darleen Bartlett, Manager of Device Management and Retail Optimization, BTC. “With HONOR, we are bringing devices that combine powerful performance, AI innovation, advanced camera technology, and durability to make everyday life easier, more connected, and productive. Our goal is to deliver technology that adds real value to everyday experiences.”
Freida Khan, Manager and Sourcing Lead at Liberty Caribbean who oversaw the HONOR-Bahamas partnership said the launch of the HONOR brand for BTC marks an exciting milestone in its commitment to bring innovative mobile technology and greater device choice to customers across the market. She noted that BTC’s strategic partnership with Honor allows the company to expand its portfolio with a brand that is recognized globally for its cutting-edge technology, premium design, and strong focus on user experience.

Extending the launch beyond the consumer experience, BTC Business also hosted an exclusive Lunch & Learn on September 16th at Fusion Superplex, giving business customers an early look at the HONOR portfolio and an opportunity to explore how technology can support the modern workplace.
Held under the theme “Built for Business. Ready for Anything,” the session brought together BTC Business customers, the HONOR team and BTC’s Product team for an interactive demonstration of the devices and their business applications.
The session highlighted the role of mobile technology in enabling greater productivity, smarter communication and greater flexibility, while showcasing how HONOR’s capabilities can support businesses as their technology needs continue to evolve.
“Our business customers are looking for technology that is smart, capable and ready to meet the demands of a changing workplace,” said Delmaro Duncombe, Director of B2B, BTC. “Through our partnership with HONOR, we are giving businesses access to technology that keeps pace with how they work today, while helping them prepare for what’s next. The Lunch and Learn was an opportunity to bring that technology to life and demonstrate its real-world value.”
