The U.S. Centers for Disease Control yesterday issued its first set of public health recommendations for those fully vaccinated.
According to the CDC, fully vaccinated people can visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing, visit unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe covid-19 disease indoors.
This can be done without wearing masks or physical distancing, as well as refrain from quarantine and testing following a known exposure, if asymptomatic.
The CDC further advises fully vaccinated individuals to continue wearing well-fitted masks, practice physical distancing and adhere to other prevention measures when visiting unvaccinated people or an unvaccinated household member at increased risk for severe covid-infection.
