Former Parliamentarian and Vice Chairman of the Free National Movement (FNM) David Thompson spoke with ZNS News about the FNM’s plans for the West Grand Bahama and Bimini by-election campaign.

Thompson said, “over the next several weeks, because I do believe that by the last week in November this will all be over, we would be doing a schedule which will involve public rallies, rallies in the alley and would as well involve us getting all of our canvassers, all of our poll workers, all of our supporters involved in all of the activities.”

Thompson also spoke highly of the party’s leader, the Hon. Michael Pintard.  “He is the type of leader who is hands on and who would have looked at all possible angles, angles that could cause the FNM to have an advantage and to win and he has a new leadership team.  So this FNM is comprised of a new leader with new leadership and a vision not just for the country but also a vision for West Grand Bahama and Bimini,” Thompson said.

The FNM candidate for the upcoming by-election in West Grand Bahama and Bimini is Bishop Ricardo Grant.
