Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper is leading a delegation of ministry officials on a global sales mission to Atlanta, Georgia in an effort to have more movies and shows filmed in The Bahamas.
The Ministry hosted an awards ceremony where Tyrese Gibson, Will Packer and Kasim Reed were honoured.
Minister Cooper said, “the reality behind this ceremony is to show our appreciation for these men who continue to have a genuine friendship and love for The Bahamas, to build on those relationships. The Bahamas has loved their work over time and we want to demonstrate our commitment to them and solicit their commitment to us for the future.”
The ceremony culminated with a junkanoo rush out.
