As Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, I applaud the invaluable role that youth organizations play in our society. Through their hard work and dedication to the united cause of positive youth development they have changed the lives of many of our nations youth for the better. It is because of their vital contributions that our country has such a talented, auspicious and civic minded set of young people that we should all be very proud of.
On Wednesday, March 16th 2022 I will be meeting with these organizations to not only hear of their plans for the remainder of the year but to learn of their challenges and needs, so that the Ministry can render the necessary assistance to help achieve their objectives and mandates. I especially encourage organizations from our Family Islands to join us via Zoom, as I am eager to hear your contributions as well. I would also encourage you, leaders of these youth organizations, to view yourselves as a network because we are indeed stronger together. As we move to strengthen our collaborative efforts, I pledge to do all that I can to continue to make our partnership a rewarding and mutually beneficial one. The meeting will take place at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium starting at 6pm.
