The nominations are in and the National Honours Advisory Committee members are hard at work reviewing hundreds of nominations and preparing their recommendations for the 2025 National Honours. Under the National Honours Act, committee recommendations are to be submitted to the Prime Minister and concluded by the Cabinet Committee.
The names of the honourees will be published on 10th July 2025, Independence Day, and the awards will be conferred on or presented to families of recipients later this year on National Heroes Day, which will be observed on Monday, 13th October 2025.
