Pastor LaQuez Williams of Jubilee Cathedral on the island of Grand Bahama offers Bahamians a message of hope for the new year.
Williams told ZNS News, “we could be in a new year but still have the same behaviour. We could be in a new year but have the same mindset that is not going to work in this season. We have to make sure that in order for us to experience the unusual breakthrough, blessings and be able to overcome every challenge that we face in 2024. We have to make sure change our mindset first.”
Pastor Williams added, “this is why people start off with new year’s resolutions at the beginning of the year and after the first three weeks, after the first week, after the first month, its over. It’s simply over simply because their mindset hasn’t changed. And the reality is God wants to bless us, God wants to do great opportunities. God will cause us to go into new rooms but if our mindset isn’t changed then we go in with the same bad attitude. We don’t know when to keep our mouth closed or to open our mouth then it can prohibit us from experiencing all the blessing that God would want for us.”
The Pastor also advised, “do not leave the lesson that we should have taken from 2023 and apply the principle in 2024.”
