962 businesses across the country are benefitting from the government’s Access Accelerator Small Business Development Center program to keep their operation afloat in this covid-19 environment. Its initial investment of 5 million dollars has exceeded some $52.7 million.

Minister of State for Finance Senator the Hon. Kwasi Thompson touts its success.

“I am pleased that with our support they were able to keep so many businesses alive and open and secure employment for so many.

“The Bahamas is full of budding entrepreneurs, but many needs that extra push to start ensuring that their dreams become realities.

“This is where collaboration or a simple act of receiving support can spark success – the access accelerator was built to do just that.

“The program has proven itself to be a tangible resource to support these Bahamians giving them access to necessary funding” Minister Thompson said.
