Director of Labour Robert Farquharson is optimistic about the unemployment numbers heading into 2024. He says that the current rate is the lowest it has been in fifteen years.
Farquharson also said, “we anticipate with the opening of the British Colonial hotel in December, with the expansion of RCI, Royal Caribbean both on Coco Cay with the opening of Royal Caribbean on Paradise Island, with the opening of the Disney project in South Eleuthera that unemployment rate will again be reduced in a matter of months.”
