Bahamas receives Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines from the US

One-thousand-five-hundred and ninety doses of Covid-19 vaccines landed in-country Thursday morning. The U.S. Government made a donation to the Government of The Bahamas of 1,390 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 200 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The Covid-19 vaccines are scheduled for deployment to Abaco and its cays along with 14 VAX site medical personnel. Additionally, vaccines are expected to be rolled out in Bimini, Exuma, Eleuthera, Long Island and other island communities.
