Member of Parliament Elect for Fort Charlotte, Sebastian Bastian was sworn in as Minister of Innovation and National Development at Government House over the weekend.
Minister Bastian shared his focus with reporters saying it will be on the practical execution of the national development plan, preparing The Bahamas for a future driven economy and to ensure government operations becomes more efficient in delivering services to the public.
He said, “we’re gonna continue to work with the members on that committee to fine tone the plan but we’re gonna get to work and start to execute the National Development Plan as well as any national projects that the Prime Minister deems a priority at this time.”
Member of Parliament Elect for Bains Town and Grants Town, Wayde Watson was also sworn in on Saturday as Minister of State for Innovation and National Development.
