I am even more humbled that we have succeeded in winning every single division here in Exuma and in Ragged Island. This is because of the hard work of my team. The hard work of the coordinators here. The support of my family and the support of the great people of Exuma and Ragged Island.”
Cooper also commented on the reason for the continued support of constituents. He said, “we have adopted a mantra that we will always be fighting for you when we speak to the people of Exuma. They see my fight. They see my work not only in Exuma but on the national stage. As a boy coming from Forbes Hill, Little Exuma I carry that flag around the world, wherever I go and the people of Exuma stand with me.”
The Exuma and Ragged Island MP intends to implement his E-Vision For Progress plan a continuation of his E-Vision 2030 plan. Cooper said, “we’re going to continue to build on what we’ve started. We have great opportunities for our young people. We’re going to continue the concept and the mandate to causes there to be greater ownership of the economy. We’ve started great investments with $1.5 billion in the pipeline. We now want to put in place enabling mechanisms to ensure that the young people of Exuma have an opportunity to participate actively.”
Cooper also spoke extensively about reviving Ragged Island saying much of the work that will be done in Exuma will extend to Ragged Island.
