Two men were shot and killed in a home on Johnson Alley off Wulff Road on Wednesday.
Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Sheria King provided details of the incident from the scene. She said, “when officers responded to Shot Spotter technology the discovered two males in residence with apparent gunshot wounds about the body. What we have learned thus far in our preliminary investigation that the suspects, males, were masked, entered the residence, opened fire on the two victims fatally wounding them.”
The Chief Superintendent described the first victim as being in his early thirties and the other in his early forties. She also informed that one of the deceased men was being electronically monitored at the time of the incident.
King also appealed to the public for any information about the crime. “We are asking as we have been asking the public to assist us in matters such as these. You can also give us this information anonymously at Crime Tipsters at 328-8477.”
This latest killing raised the 2025 murder count to 60.
