The 53rd Annual Conch-Cracking Festival came alive in McLean’s Town, featuring lively music, local cuisine and the thrill of the signature conch-cracking competition on National Heroes Day, Monday, October 13, 2025. Officials of the Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation (MOTIA) were present. Senator the Hon. James Turner and Member of Parliament for East Grand Bahama, Kwasi Thompson offered brief remarks to officially open the festival.
