Party officers and members of the Progressive Liberal Party led by Prime Minister and Party Leader, the Hon. Philip Davis attended church at Life Changers Ministries International on Sunday to commemorate four years in office.
During his address Mr. Davis listed some of the accomplishments of his administration and admitted that there is more work to do.
“After four years serving the Bahamian people we feel even more profoundly that unless the Lord builds the house the builders labour is in vain. We are but stewards of God’s vision. When we help our country take steps forward it is because of his grace. Thus whatever our challenges, whatever our triumphs, faith must be the source of our strength, humility must be our content companion and gratitude must be our guide,” he said.
The Prime Minister spoke about the new hospitals being built, the expansion of access to homeownership. He also called for unity saying, “every barrier we remove, every obstacle we knock down, every injustice we correct, every opportunity we extend, every act of service that helps our people flourish has an impact the ripples out much further than we can see becoming part of our collective legacy, one that will far out live our times. Together we are weaving a tapestry of change and transformation and though we are imperfect our work is sacred.”
The Progressive Liberal Party took office after winning the last general election on September 16th, 2021.
