Prime Minister and Progressive Liberal Party Leader, the Hon. Philip Davis addressed party supporters on Monday at their central link up event.
During his presentation Mr. Davis urged party supporters to stay alert. He said, “I know many of you have questions tonight about what comes next but for now I want you to do one thing. I want you to do one thing for now, stay alert, stay ready and stay faithful.”
The Prime Minister also spoke about fallen Member of Parliament for Golden Isles, the Late Hon. Vaughn Miller. He asked to crowd gathered on Garden Hills Park to honour Miller’s memory by lifting others as he did, by serving people with compassion and by keeping their hearts turned to the one who has all the answers.
Several Members of Parliament also appeared at the event including Pinewood MP and Minister of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting, the Hon. Myles Laroda; Bahamas Public Parks and Public Beaches Executive Chairman and Mount Moriah MP, the Hon. McKell Bonaby; Parliamentary Secretary and Nassau Village MP, the Hon. Jamal Strachan and Minister of Youth Sports and Culture and Garden Hills MP, the Hon. Mario Bowleg.
