Coalition Of Independents (COI) Chairman, Charlotte Green told ZNS News on Tuesday that the party expects to ratify the remaining three candidates for the 2026 general election in the next two weeks.
Green said, “the candidates are being received positively and they are sharing the message of change and the constituents, the voting populace, are receiving it. And when you see people start to reach in more for conversations, they want more clarity on this vision, they want it explained more it shows a level of interest in the party and the vision that we have for the country.”
The COI Chair also shared some of the party plans should they become government. “A government where we have Bahamians who are owners in this country and not just workers of this country. A government that allows the people to benefit from their country. A government that does not run on corruption and a government that is accountable to the people,” Green said.
