The Bahamas Crisis Centre partnered with the Ministry of National Security, other government ministries, and Wendy’s restaurant in bringing awareness to child sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Crisis Centre staged a Child Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Exhibition at The Mall at Marathon to get its message across to the public-at-large.
Supporting the initiative and addressing the forum, which included school students, were: the Hon. Myles LaRoda, Minister of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting; Mrs. Ann Marie Davis, Office of the Spouse of The Prime Minister; PaulTsavoussis, Wendy’s CEO; Indira Bell, Assistant Superintendent of Police/Chairperson, Trafficking in Persons; Dr. Sandra Dean-Patterson, Director, the Bahamas Crisis Centre; and other partners.
