Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis has declared Tuesday, January 23rd, Families Of All Murdered Day. Head of the organization, Khandi Gibson spoke with ZNS New about plans for the day.
She said, “we would also want to extend and invite to everyone who would have lost a loved one to murder. This is a day when we’re going to remember our diamond, yes they were our diamond. And so we’re asking persons who would have lost their loved one to come on done January 23rd at New Covenant Baptist Church located on East West Highway, Nassau, Bahamas at 11am to 2pm where we’ll have a special prayer service for families who would have lost their loved ones to murder.”
