Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Fred Mitchell is advising Bahamians to invest in Grand Bahama as the island’s economy grows.
In a recent audio message Mr. Mitchell said, “those of you who know me know that I consider Grand Bahama to be the closest thing to paradise on earth and I’m sure it has plenty competition for that title, but I believe it is very much the future of our country. I implore young people to buy land in Grand Bahama, build a home in Grand Bahama. The prediction is that 6 million tourist will visit Grand Bahama by the year 2028, that’s nothing to sneeze about. It means a vibrant dynamic economy is coming and Bahamians ought to get ready to take advantage of what is to come.
