Courtesy Call of the Chinese Ambassador on the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture

NASSAU, The Bahamas — Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas Her Excellency Dai Qingli paid a courtesy call on Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Mario Bowleg, on December 16, 2021, at the Ministry in the Ivy L. Dumont Building, on University Boulevard.  Bahamian Government officials present were Permanent Secretary Eugene Poitier; Director of Sports Timothy Munnings; Head of the Youth Division Sandena Neely; Acting Director of Culture Dereka Deleveaux-Grant; Deputy Director at the Ministry of Works and Utilities Robert Mouzas; and  General Manager of the National Sports Authority Quinton Brennen.  Also a part of Her Excellency’s delegation was Chief of Economic and Commercial Affairs and First Secretary Fan Jinke.  Topics discussed included initiatives and possible interactions in the areas of youth, sports and culture, including online training and cultural exchanges.
