The Department of Social Services, Disability Affairs Division, hosted a Disability Awareness Expo on Tuesday, December 3, at St. George’s High School Gym as a part of Disability Awareness Week.
The Expo featured organisations that service those with disabilities including Disability Affairs Division, Association for the Deaf, Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Hampton Academy, the Disability Unit of the Department of Labour, and the National Insurance Board.
The week began with a church service at Jubilee Cathedral with Pastor Laquez Williams on Sunday, December 1 and will close with a Disability Luncheon on Saturday, December 7 at the Foster B. Pestaina Center, being partnered with Anglican Church Women.
