The Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) held a rally at the Beach Soccer Stadium in New Providence on Monday where Prime Minister and Party Leader, the Hon. Philip Davis continued to make the case for his administration getting a second term in office.
During his keynote presentation Mr. Davis told supporters, “friends in 22 days we have a choice. In 22 days we can choose to continue to build our country. In 22 days we can choose to end the cycle of changing government every five years where our administration starts the work, the next crew comes in and stops, reviews and cancels it. In 22 days we can choose progress or we can choose to go backwards. We can choose to hand this country to a party with no plan, no record and no leader ready for the job.”
The PLP Leader also highlighted an online tracker released by the PLP which allows citizens to gauge their progress with the commitments made in the Blueprint For Change. “I’m proud to say that out of the 387 commitments made 325 of them have been delivered or are in progress.”
Mr. Davis also compared his leadership to that of Free National Movement Leader, Michael Pintard. He said, “when you want to get things done you need good leadership. When you want to get big things done you need experienced leadership, tested leadership. Our Progressive Liberal Party is united behind a strong vision with detailed plans and proven teamwork.”
The PLP is scheduled to hold its next rally in Marsh Harbour, Abaco on Wednesday, April 22nd.
