Governor-General and Officials attend Gala in Honour of Bishop Neil Ellis

Under the distinguished patronage of Governor General His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A. Smith and Lady Smith, Mount Tabor Church held a gala affair to honour Bishop Neil C. Ellis and Mrs. Patrice Ellis on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Atlantis Paradise Island.  Bishop Ellis retires from the office of senior pastor at Mount Tabor in December 2022.

In attendance at the gala were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation (MOTIA) the Hon. Chester Cooper, who delivered remarks; Minister of Social Services and Urban Development the Hon. Obie Wilchcombe; Minister of Education and Technical & Vocational Training the Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin; Minister of Transport and Housing the Hon. JoBeth Coleby-Davis; Deputy Opposition Leader Shanendon Cartwright; Ambassador to the United States His Excellency Wendall Jones; Ambassador to CARICOM Her Excellency Leslia Miller Brice; MOTIA and other government officials, and friends.  Government House Permanent Secretary, Jack Thompson was master of ceremonies.
