The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture held a Culture in the Park event in Nassau Village over the weekend. Twenty Five vendors were able to sell there wares at the event.

Member of Parliament for Nassau Village was at the event. He said, “the reality is that Nassau Village is a predominantly residential area and we do have a lot of entrepreneurs, small business and medium as well. So they would normally have traverse or head outside of the constituency to sell their goods. This particular initiative provides expansion and exposure. It allows for the national view to be on Nassau Villagers and also the entrepreneurs that reside within.”

More Culture in the Park events are planned for next year.
