A man was shot and killed in a police involved shooting at a business located in western New Providence around 6pm on Saturday.
Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Sheria King was on the scene where she provided reporters with details of the incident. She said, “an off duty officer was at a local establishment off West Bay Street when an altercation occurred that continued on the outside of that establishment. One of the males in that altercation got into his vehicle. The officer felt that the vehicle was coming at him in a threatening manner. He then fired one shot fatally wounding the driver of that vehicle.”
